Hij is gepromoveerd op de kinetiek van de maillardreactie aan de Universiteit van Reading (Verenigd Koninkrijk). Vervolgens zette hij zijn carri\u00e8re in Nederland voort. Hij woont hier al sinds 2006 en verricht al bijna 10 jaar aromawetenschappelijk onderzoek (zoals organische chemie en analyses), door aan een groot aantal wetenschappelijke congressen en samenwerkingen met verschillende universiteiten deel te nemen. Inmiddels is hij verantwoordelijk voor het toepassingsgedeelte. Hij is vooral ge\u00efnteresseerd in het opzetten van externe samenwerkingen binnen zijn domein tussen Unilever en de Wageningen University &amp; Research (en de Foods valley) en de onderzoekssamenwerkingen met andere bedrijven, door een open innovatie te ontwikkelen die kan leiden tot gezamenlijke octrooien. Daarnaast vertegenwoordigt hij de Fransen in Nederland als consulair raadslid. Ook is hij medeoprichter van de Stichting Francosciences Pays-Bas waarvan hij ook vice-voorzitter is.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"599\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/institutfrancais.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Halima-MOUHIB.webp\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-17621\" srcset=\"https:\/\/institutfrancais.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Halima-MOUHIB.webp 599w, https:\/\/institutfrancais.nl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/11\/Halima-MOUHIB-300x225.webp 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 599px) 100vw, 599px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify has-small-font-size\"><strong>Halima Mouhib<\/strong> promoveerde in 2012 aan de RWTH Aken (RWTH Aachen) in Duitsland onder begeleiding van prof. dr. Wolfgang Stahl. Haar proefschrift ging over de karakterisering van geurstoffen in de gasfase door het gebruik van microgolfspectroscopie met hoge resolutie en kwantumchemische berekeningen. Na haar doctoraat ori\u00ebnteerde zij zich op het domein van de moleculaire dynamica en de numerieke biofysica (Forscschungszentrum J\u00fclich, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam). Vervolgen ging ze in september 2016 aan de slag als docente aan de Marne-campus van de Universit\u00e9 Gustave Eiffel. Sinds haar habilitatie met de titel \u201cUnderstanding molecular interactions in olfactory research\u201d in 2019, bestudeert ze vooral de moleculaire mechanismes en de onderliggende interacties die ten grondslag liggen aan reukvermogen met behulp van numerieke methodes. Ze is de Franse winnares van de Descartes-Huygensprijs 2022 en erelid van het Insitut Universitaire de France (IUF).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow
