Dit is een thema waarop Frankrijk en Nederland nauw samenwerken, maar dat ook in beide landen een belangrijk discussiepunt is. Waar vaak over migratie wordt gesproken in termen van crisis, willen de sprekers op dit congres juist kijken naar de mogelijkheden die het biedt. Hoe kunnen de talenten die migranten met zich meebrengen, zoals intercultureel en meertalig bewustzijn, ontplooid en ingezet worden? Veel migranten uit bijvoorbeeld Syri\u00eb of de Maghreb hebben goede kennis van het Frans, waar in Nederland grote behoefte aan is.
