The France Excellence Quantum scholarships are also intended for students and young researchers from French higher education institutions, in the same fields, who wish to pursue their studies or careers in the Netherlands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;The France Excellence Quantum scholarships are reserved for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>students or researchers from the Netherlands with a serious, coherent, and motivated plan for a full master\u2019s programme or a research project in France;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>students or researchers from France with a serious, coherent, and motivated plan for a full master\u2019s programme or a research project in the Netherlands.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>It is therefore essential to thoroughly consult the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.campusfrance.org\">Campus France website<\/a> (French agency responsible for higher education in France)  or the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.studyinnl.org\/.\">NUFFIC website<\/a> (Dutch agency responsible for promoting higher education in the Netherlands) before applying for a scholarship. For more information on studying in France, please consult<a href=\"https:\/\/institutfrancais.nl\/nl\/studeren-in-fr-jouw-stappenplan\/\"> this page<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligibility criteria<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;\u2022 Must be a student holding at least a French or Dutch bachelor&#8217;s degree, enrolled in a French or Dutch higher education institution, or recently obtained a bachelor&#8217;s degree;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Must be under 35 years old;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 All nationalities are eligible;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Candidates from the Netherlands without a degree from a French institution or candidates from France without a degree at a Dutch institution. Students, PHD-candidates and \/ or young researchers who plan to study or do a research project in France or in the Netherlands are eligible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Eligible themes<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Various research projects and master&#8217;s programmes at French universities and engineering schools or Dutch universities (applied sciences) in the field of quantum are eligible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some examples of study areas and research include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u2022Quantum Science and Technology<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Quantum Engineering<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Quantum Technology&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Quantum Computing&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Quantum Sensors&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>\u2022 Quantum Information Science&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Quantum Cryptography&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Quantum Communication&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Quantum Matter&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Benefits of obtaining the &#8216;France Excellence Quantum&#8217; scholarship<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For master&#8217;s students or engineering school students:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Monthly allowance of \u20ac900 per month for ten months (September 2026-June 2027).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Coverage of round-trip travel to the destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For PhD candidates and researchers:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Monthly allowance of at least \u20ac1700 per month for a minimum of one month and a maximum of six months (during the academic years 2025-2026\/ 2026-2027).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Coverage of round-trip travel to the destination.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to apply for the France Excellence Quantum Scholarship?<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Applications are submitted in English via email addressed to <a href=\"marnix.satter@institutfrancais.nl\">Marnix Satter<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Required Documents for the Application<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 A CV with a photo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 A motivation letter specifying how the study project in France or in the Netherlands fits into the student&#8217;s academic and professional trajectory.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Copies of university diplomas and transcripts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Two recommendation letters from a professor or professional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 An enrolment or acceptance certificate if you have already contacted or been accepted by a French or Dutch higher education institution or research team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Pre-selected candidates will present their application in the form of a pitch (in person or online) before a jury at the French Embassy in The Hague.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>It is the responsibility of the candidate to complete all necessary procedures with the chosen French or Dutch higher education institutions or research centers. As registration and administrative deadlines vary from one institution to another, candidates are strongly advised not to wait for the scholarship allocation before contacting the institutions. Please consult the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.campusfrance.org\">Campus France <\/a>or the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.studyinnl.org\">Study in NL<\/a> page.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The final allocation of the scholarship will only be effective after the acceptance of the laureate by one of the previously chosen French or Dutch institutions. The scholarship award does not constitute or replace acceptance and enrolment at a French or Dutch higher education institution.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>France Excellence Quantum scholarships cannot be combined with other scholarships awarded by IFNL, neither by the French, nor by the Dutch government.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Selected candidates commit to attending the training and\/or carrying out the research project for which the scholarship was awarded, regularly informing partners about the progress of their stay, as well as participating in certain activities organized around mobility scholarships and the alumni network.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Schedule for Master&#8217;s students:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There is no deadline for master&#8217;s students&#8217; applications.
