Daarnaast is hij docent Francofone literatuur aan de Universiteit van Californi\u00eb, Los Angeles (UCLA), en ontving hij de Prix Renaudot voor zijn roman&nbsp;<em>M\u00e9moires de porc-\u00e9pic<\/em>&nbsp;(2006). Hij is tevens twee keer genomineerd voor de International Booker Prize, voor zijn gehele oeuvre in 2015 en vervolgens voor zijn roman&nbsp;<em>Petit Piment<\/em>&nbsp;(2015) in 2017. De colleges die hij gaf aan het Coll\u00e8ge de France, waar hij tijdens het academisch jaar 2015-2016 voorzitter was van de Cr\u00e9ation artistique, zijn verzameld onder de titel&nbsp;Acht lessen over Afrika&nbsp;(<em>Huit le\u00e7ons sur l\u2019Afrique<\/em>). Alain Mabanckou is geboren en getogen in Pointe-Noire, de Democratische Republiek Congo, en zal tijdens zijn lezing verbanden leggen tussen Afrika en Europa, de rol van koloniaal erfgoed bespreken en de kracht van literaire verbeelding aanhalen. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Simone Atangana Bekono<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Simone Atangana Bekono (1991) studeerde in 2016 af aan Creative Writing ArtEZ met een bundeling van gedichten en brieven,&nbsp;<em>hoe de eerste vonken zichtbaar waren<\/em>, die in 2018 werd bekroond met de Po\u00ebziedebuutprijs Aan Zee. In 2019 ontving ze het Charlotte K\u00f6hler Stipendium en werd ze door&nbsp;de Volkskrant&nbsp;uitgeroepen tot een van d\u00e9 literaire talenten van 2020. Met haar debuutroman&nbsp;<em>Confrontaties&nbsp;<\/em>won zij de Hebban Debuutprijs, het Beste Boek voor Jongeren en de Anton Wachterprijs, en stond ze op de shortlist van de Libris Literatuurprijs en De Bronzen Uil. De vertaalrechten zijn onder andere verkocht aan Amerika, Engeland en Duitsland.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-wp-embed is-provider-institut-francais-nl
