In een combinatie van sociologisch onderzoek en persoonlijke geschiedenis onderzoekt hij de ervaringen van zijn oom D\u00e9sir\u00e9, die van huis wegging om te studeren en te reizen, maar aan de hero\u00efne raakte verslaafd en aids kreeg.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Mark Vermeulen<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Mark Vermeulen is de nieuwe directeur van Aidsfonds &#8211; Soa Aids Nederland. Mark Vermeulen heeft 10 jaar ervaring in de (internationale) strijd tegen aids en soa&#8217;s met zich mee. Als leider richt Mark zich op het bevorderen van de strijd tegen aids en soa&#8217;s in Nederland en wereldwijd.
