Ze maakt digitale kunst waarin ze videogames en 3D technologie combineert. Haar werk begeeft zich op het snijvlak tussen het digitale en het werkelijke. Ze ontwerpt digitale tuinen door bestaande planten 3D in te scannen, waarbij ze de werkelijke verhoudingen in een digitale ruimte op een scherm overzet. Ze nodigt mensen uit om te \u2018cyber-dwalen\u2019 in haar digitale ruimtes, waarin elke vorm van dialoog ontbreekt en waarbij het rondwandelen zelf de methode vormt. Daarnaast verweeft ze milieukwesties, zoals het uitsterven van dier- en plantensoorten, met een toekomstbewuste visie en ze transformeert elke ruimte tot een verbluffend hyperrealistische omgeving.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Residentieprojet<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In het kader van het Nouveau Grand Tour NL-programma verbleef Annika Bol als artist in residence bij het Nieuwe Instituut (1 maart tot 30 april 2024). Tijdens deze periode heeft zij zich toegelegd op het archief van het Nieuwe Instituut, met een focus op architectuur. Het gebouw van Diergaarde Blijdorp had voorheen een decoratieve stijl, maar heeft door de jaren heen een strakker uiterlijk gekregen. Deze verandering is het gevolg van verschillende verbouwingen en esthetische aanpassingen en in het archief is deze geleidelijke verandering gedocumenteerd.&nbsp; Met behulp van<em> Walking Navigation<\/em> brengt Annika het architectonisch ontwerp van Diergaarde Blijdorp, ontworpen door Sybold van Ravesteyn, tot leven in een digitale omgeving. Hiervoor heeft ze de architectonische evolutie van Diergaarde Blijdorp in kaart gebracht aan de hand van plattegronden, foto&#8217;s en prints en deze ge\u00efntegreerd in haar 3D-landschappen. Ze nodigt ons uit hierin rond te dwalen via de 3D-software<em> Blender<\/em>.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"
