Met veel interesse volgt ze de toon van de werkelijkheid in stedelijke, openbare en leefruimtes. Af en toe neemt ze stemmen op, die ze ook wel documentaire bronnen noemt. Uit haar opnames knipt ze fragmenten die ze in de studio transcribeert en transformeert tot gelaagde soundscapes. Van ambient tot concreet, deze composities bevatten een breed scala aan muzikale invloeden.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Residentieproject<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In het kader van het Nouveau Grand Tour NL-programma verbleef L\u00e9a Jullien als artist in residence bij Willem Twee Studios (3 juni tot 16 juni 2024) waar ze bleef experimenteren met quasi-automatische opnames van haar leven in Den Bosch. Tijdens haar dagelijkse fietstochten en nachtelijke wandelingen legde ze geluiden vast. In de buitenlucht verzamelde ze de geluiden van het weer en in de studio nam ze orgelgeluiden op. Haar werk is een ontdekkingstocht van ruimte en tijd enerzijds en van creatie en rust anderzijds.
